About Me

Hey everyone! My name is Megan and I am married to a wonderful man named Jeremy. It was about time my blog got a little face lift and the “About Me” section got a little update. There isn’t a ton you’ll need to know me before reading any of my posts, but I’ll start with some basics. I was a Pre-K teacher for 4 1/2 years before becoming an administrative assistant for an RV dealership where my husband was already the rental manager and a salesman. Some of my favorite things are family, friends, cooking, and crafting. My true passion is Jesus. Jeremy and I both love our church, our community, and serving in student ministries. There is no greater joy than knowing and walking with God and we hope you see a little picture of that through any post you read here. I am a sinner saved by grace alone. My life is not my own, it belongs to Jesus. What a glorious thing to have freedom in Christ, to live to serve and glorify Him, to be His ‘doulos’ and call Him Savior, Friend, Father, Lord. One reason I decided to start this blog is simply as a journal for myself; I wanted a way to look back and see what God has done in my life: how He’s been faithful, answered prayers, changed me, used me, etc. I pray you’ll be blessed by what you read here if you choose to journey through these writings with me. I am humbled you would even take the time to read this introduction…feel free to stick around if you’d like to find out more in further posts!

  1. I happened upon your blog by accident and I’m glad I did. You are an inspiration in your positive attitude and your family seems wonderful. Despite not being religious myself (I’m either an agnostic or recovering Catholic depending on your point of view), I really appreciate your dedication to your faith in the face of adversity. My dad died of cancer three years ago. He was just one of many of my relatives that went this way after a brave struggle. You are truly your mother’s best asset – you and your siblings. Best of luck with everything – keep on blogging.

    • Wow thank you for sharing. I am really sorry to hear about your dad and the rest of your family. I have come to realize just how devastating cancer can be…I am very grateful for all the Lord has done in my life and the lives of others through the struggle that our family has been going through, even though it has been quite the struggle. There is still a long journey ahead, but every bit of it is a blessing! I am thankful that you have happened upon my blog and hope that it can be an encouragement to you! Thank you for the well wishes!
