So Many Valentines :)

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I will try and make my post short, even though there are a lot of little thoughts that all go along with today that I could share. Valentine’s day is a day all about love; I am reminded today of the love of God toward me. God loved me so much, that He sent His son to die on a cross to save my soul for an eternity with Himself and that brings Him glory! There is no greater love than the love of Christ and that is what I choose to focus on today. There are also so many people that God has so sweetly placed around me that love me well. What a precious thing to celebrate on Valentine’s Day and every day really! I do look forward to when I have someone to spoil on days like today and other days ;); someone who will make me feel super special, treasured, and loved. But today, I am happy for those that do have that and thankful for how much love I am given and can share daily!

Work was exhausting today, but fun! Teaching young children proves to be an adventure and it definitely makes Valentine’s Day fun; how could it not be when you have 11 little valentines 🙂 They all got to do an exchange of Valentines today and of course I participated! (plus, as the teacher, you get extra stuff from the little sweethearts)

all the kids got to decorate shoe boxes to be their "love boxes" (or mailboxes for valentines)

it's been a long time since I've gotten so many valentines

Ok, now that all the Valentine’s Day stuff is out of the way, today is also my mom’s birthday!!!! It’s very appropriate that her birthday would be on a day that celebrates love…she is the most loving person I know. My mom is gentle, kind, caring, funny, gorgeous, and all around amazing! God is so gracious to bless me with the best mom EVER!!

Mom, Happy Valentine’s Day and Happy Birthday!!! I hope that you felt special today and that you felt loved! You deserve only the best! You are truly an inspiration to me! You are so humble and faithful. You care so much more about everyone else than yourself. You have taught me what loving others really looks like and have imparted immeasurable amounts of wisdom in my life. Thank you for all that you do! Thank you for being such a great example of a Godly wife and mother! Thank you for loving me unconditionally and for being there for me no matter what! You are absolutely precious to me and I love you so incredibly much!
