Still Stable! :)

Ok well it’s late and I wasn’t going to post at all, but I know I won’t get around to posting while I am in VA (I leave right after work tomorrow and won’t be back till Sunday), so I wanted to update everyone before I leave! Tonight was fun! After work, I got to go shopping with Amanda, Sarah, and Sabrina then go eat waffle’s with some friends at the guy’s apartment! Now for what I really wanted to post about…my mom’s appointment! We are very pleased to say that the lymph node has not grown, which means the cancer is still stable! Praise the Lord! We are so thankful! God did not have to give us good news today in order to be good or in order to be God…but we are so thankful for His extra measure of grace in not having the cancer grow right now! My mom will go back in another 2 months to get checked again. Thank you all so much for the prayers, encouragement, verses, and love that you have shown us! Hope everyone had a wonderful day and have a fantastic Thanksgiving! Remember that the greatest gift we can be thankful for is the gift of salvation and God’s grace to us! He is really what this holiday is all about and He is well deserving of our gratitude! I will leave you with a short prayer that I read as I started reading my new book (At the Throne of Grace) that I just love and it was in the introduction to the book [can’t wait to get into more of it]:

Almighty God, unto whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hid: Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of thy Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love thee, and worthily magnify thy holy Name; through Christ our Lord. Amen.
