I only worked 8-3:45pm today ūüôā Got off early because we were overstaffed. When I got home, I ran some errands with my sisters at Target. Through talking to one of my co-workers, I found out that some school supplies were needed for her children, so I picked some up and got some stuff together that my family had left over from previous years. I am praying that these supplies will be a sweet blessing to her and her family!

Now us girls are thinking about going to get some frozen yogurt!!!!! Hoping Chris will finish golfing in time to join us! We got a fun package in today….my parent’s iMac came in today. Our old computer was struggling, so my dad upgraded quite a bit.

sorry for the poor quality...quick phone picture

We got my parents all set up with a Skype account so they can talk to Lauren while she’s up at school…we are now a Mac home; I can partly take the credit for that ūüėČ

On a less fun note, I quite possibly could be getting sick. I am hoping it’s just allergies or that it will pass very quickly, but my nose is very stuffy and I am rather sneezy! BLAH!

I was reading a couple days ago in 2 Corinthians and there were a couple of sections that I wanted to mention. The first is 2 Corinthians 2:10-11. I was reminded that Satan will use our lack of forgiveness to attack.

“But one whom you forgive anything, I¬†forgive¬†also; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything,¬†I did it¬†for your sakes¬†in the presence of Christ, so that no advantage would be taken of us by¬†Satan, for¬†we are not ignorant of his schemes.”

The other is 2 Corinthians 2:14-16. In this section I was reminded that we (believers) are an aroma. To those who do not follow Christ we will be the aroma of death, because the truth we live by and live out is truth that leads to death for them; but to those who are our brothers and sisters in the faith, we are an aroma of life. We bring knowledge of Him that leads to life for those who are in Christ.

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For we are a fragrance of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing; to the one an aroma from death to death, to the other an aroma from life to life. And who is adequate for these things?
